Which USDT chain should I pick?
Match it to the wallet or exchange you’re sending to. ERC-20 has the deepest support but higher fees; TRC-20 is cheap and widely supported on Asian exchanges; SPL is fastest if you’re already on Solana.
Is the rate USD or actual market price?
Market price. USDT is pegged to USD but trades a few basis points off in either direction. The widget shows the actual quoted exchange rate, not a notional 1:1.
What if I send the wrong chain’s USDT?
If the destination address validates but is for a different chain than the one you selected, funds are at risk. The widget tries to catch this — but ultimately you’re responsible for picking the right chain. When in doubt, send a small test amount first.
